| Karmic Lifesciences announces strategic partnership with Seahorse Scientific Services, UK |

London, Aug 11, 2008: Karmic Lifesciences (Karmic) and Seahorse Scientific Services Ltd. UK (S3) have announced
a strategic partnership to jointly provide end-to-end service offerings in the clinical research and development
space to Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device companies on a worldwide basis.
Under the agreement, Karmic and S3 will together provide a comprehensive suite of clinical services encompassing
regulatory consulting, clinical trail management, pre-clinical research, bio-analytical research, clinical data
management, bio-statistics, medical writing, regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance and core ECG services.
This partnership will benefit both parties by leveraging Karmic’s India and US presence with strong US FDA
regulatory knowledge and clinical back office capabilities and S3’s UK presence, its strong offerings in the
Clinical Design, Core Lab Services and Regulatory Expertise on MHRA guidelines. Besides, S3’s strong links with
Barts and the London NHS Trust, one of the world's top teaching hospital trusts brings tremendous credibility to
the partnership.
